How Booked Hire Time Works
For any time-based chauffeur booking, including hourly, half-day, full-day and multi-day hire, the hire period begins from the booked start time.
The chauffeur and vehicle are reserved from the selected time, even if the passenger boards later due to delays, itinerary changes, late-running guests, airport delays, baggage delays, event delays, traffic or any other circumstance outside the chauffeur’s control.
Example
If a multi-day hire is booked to begin at 12:00 and the passenger boards at 16:00, the chauffeur has still been reserved and available from 12:00. Those four hours form part of the booked hire period because the vehicle, chauffeur and schedule have been held for the client.
Pricing
Multi-Day Chauffeur Hire Is Quoted Individually
Pricing depends on time, distance, vehicle type, waiting time, routing, overnight requirements, parking, tolls, airport charges and any additional operational costs.
If multiple parking, toll, airport, venue or access charges arise outside the agreed itinerary, these may be billed separately. For general bookings, payment is required in advance. Once payment is taken within the 48-hour pre-travel period, the booking becomes non-refundable. Corporate account arrangements may be considered for regular clients, depending on usage and account approval.
